Pay for Play Membership:

For only $590 you can:

• Get an official NZ golf handicap
• Pay a discounted green fee each time you play at Howick GC
• $590 start up payment, $235.00 of that gets banked for you to spend as you play
• $100 minimum top up.

Playing Rights

• No online booking
• Play available after 10:30am (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday), 11:30am (Saturday and Sunday), and 1:30pm (Thursday)
  • May apply for full booking rights when a handicap of 20 or lower has been achieved, at the discretion of the match committee and golf operations
• Very young juniors are not permitted to play on the course without adult supervision
• Juniors should always check in at the pro shop before playing on the course
• Juniors are able to use the practice facilities, provided they are respectful of rules and regulations, other golfers on the practice areas and playing on the course

Juniors who reach the age of 19 move into the next membership category. See age related memberships above

 

Pay for Play Membership - Terms and Conditions

1. Annual membership fees and levies which pay for your handicap will be due and payable every 12 months. Levies cannot be paid from your Pay for Play credits. You will be contacted when these are due and you will need to pay them prior to the renewal date to maintain your handicap and Pay for Play Membership
2. All golf played will incur the ruling members guest green fee rate which will be payable either from your Pay for Play bank, or you can elect to pay cash or eftpos
3. Pay for Play Members do not have online booking rights – please phone or visit the Pro Shop to book a tee time
4. Play anytime including weekends
5. Pay for Play Credits will be valid for 12 months after cessation of annual membership following which they will expire
6. All competition and other entry fees must be paid for in cash - not from your Pay for Play bank
7. Green fees apply when entering certain competitions
8. Not eligible to play in any club trophy events
9. Category ‘B’ member – no voting rights & not eligible for election
10. All fees due on joining
11. Annual renewal of $590.00

Please note : Pay for Play Members are required to check in at the Golf Shop to get a scorecard and settle the relevant green fee prior to each game. Failing to do so could result in a fine.

 

Paying in Instalments – Terms and Conditions

• Payment in instalments can be set up with the office or at the pro shop
• $100 finance fee per year
• An upfront payment of $500 (for a Full Playing Membership) or $400 (for a Colt or 9 Hole Membership) is required for the first year, with the remaining balance to be paid over the following 11 months. Instalments will be evenly split over 12 months in the following years of membership.
• Failure to pay monthly instalments will result in a suspended membership and removal of online booking rights
